Sage Diner in Pocomoke City

Wait staff was nice and our waitress was efficient and friendly. My seafood was mediocre, mashed potatoes luke warm and salad greens not fresh. My meal was the best of the three. The others ordered the corned beef sandwich which came out overcooked and meat was fried to the point of being dried out and the cook found this acceptable to send out of the kitchen. There was only a handful of customers, so no excuse for the food. Fire the cook and let the waitresses do it, at least they take pride in their job. Definitely will not be a stop again while visiting the Eastern Shore. I hope their other locations are better, because this one is definitely bottom of the barrel.

Crystal was an excellent waitress. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Sunday buffet had nice selection and was constantly being replenished. Will return when back in the area.

Fantastic experience with my two sons. Easy to get to and back on the road in a flash. The place is very big plenty of seating and very clean. Our waitress Tracy was one of the best I've had while visiting in the area. She has a great personality and is very attentive. The food is good and a big menu to look through. Prices are fair !

Always great food and clean. Prices seem to be higher with less included. Now those previously included items are up-charged items. Staff are a positive asset.

We had breakfast that morning. Southern charm is how I described the place. The food was cooked very well. My waitress did not forget to ask if I wanted hot sauce for my eggs. I would go back anytime

Eat here at your own risk. I was served an omelette with rancid components. No one asked how it was, and I really don't think anyone would have cared. Therefore, I didn't really feel welcome to voice my concern--And now I'm Ill. If you're on the road, just wait till you get to Norfolk. Or Salisbury whichever way you're headed. Better to be hungry than poisoned by rotten food.

Excellent service, great authentic food. Awesome for the family. We stopped there on a Saturday night 30 minutes before closing time and were greeted with open arms. Service was great, food was tasty and decently priced. An oasis of authenticity in a world of big chain restaurants. Stop you won't regret it!

My fiancee and I are from central pa and were just traveling through, but I am sooo happy we stopped in. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is very clean and comfortable. They have a very extensive menu. I mean they have a little bit of everything and very reasonably priced. Everything we had to eat was deeliccious! And we did not have to wait long. I would suggest this place to locals or anyone passing through!

When one of our favorite places to go for lunch changed hands, we decided it was time to try the Sage in Pocomoke. So glad we did! The service is great, and the food delicious! We have been back numerous times since, and never have been disappointed.

The food is good at best . The only reason I didn't rate lower was because the food is reasonably priced and the staff seem nice . I have been 2 times . The first time was an absolute disaster, we were there as a family of 4 and was a 3 hour visit . The second time the food was below average. They should take some advice from the diner in Virginia it is much better ! .

Old fashioned diner with booths, tables and counter. Wanted soup for lunch and they had four varieties. Hot, fresh and server was very cordial and helped my wife get what she wanted at reduced cost! This is not white table cloth dining but was good food at honest prices.

The service received was excellent. The staff was very polite. The prices very reasonable. The value very good. The condition of the building was very clean including the restrooms.

My wife and I stopped here while traveling north, just though we could try something that wasn't fast food. The place from the outside can be a little off but we were thrilled with the prices, the service and the food. The French onion soup was made to order, nice and hot on a cold night. I got a club sandwich with chicken and it was great. The cheesesteak sub was delicious. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. This is the kind of place we would stop again when passing through.

This place is disgusting inside and out. I couldn't breathe due to all of roach powder they had down. No hospitality at all

Great waitresses & great food & you get a lot for your $$$ The only 2 bad things I could say about the place is that. That disgusting Ellen Degeneres was on the Tv. & the lighting could be a bit better. I would highly recommend the place & the bathroom was very clean so you can tell the people take pride in there work.

Amazing food

I ordered a BLT which ws served quickly. It came with fries that we hot- I burned my mouth- my fault. Later I spoke withe the waitress about substituting a vegetable for the fries and s he said they do that as long as the vegetable is available that day. Moat breakfast items are sold all day. The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and the employees are bright and friendly.
